Position:  ASP.NET/VB.NET Web Developer
Location:  Rocky Hill, CT
Employment Type:  Permanent, Full-Time

Rocky Hill, CT based Software Company is looking for an additional Web Developer to join our Core Development Team. Your primary job responsibilities will be to lead development of a key ASP.NET web product as well as begin development on new products. You will participate in all aspects of web product development including brainstorming, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and support. You will frequently work directly with executive management in developing and refining new products. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a team.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain existing industry leading ASP.NET web applications.
- Collaborate, develop and maintain new ASP.NET web applications to meet business objectives.
- Ability to test and troubleshoot existing ASP.NET applications as part of a core development team.
- Ability to provide accurate estimates for tasks and meet project milestones.
- Provide telephone and web-based troubleshooting and support when necessary.

Required Skills
- 3+ years experience developing ASP.NET, VB.NET and .NET Framework applications with a Microsoft SQL Server back end.
- 3+ years development experience with HTML, CSS, AJAX and Javascript.
- 3+ years experience using Microsoft IIS to host ASP.NET applications.
- 3+ years writing complex SQL Queries.
- Experience connecting ASP.NET code to Public Web APIs.
- Experience using third-party components within your code.
- Able to fluently communicate verbally and in writing in clear, concise English.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- Primary development language is Visual Basic.

Additional Desirable Assets
- Experience using any type of Code Revision Control System (such as Subversion).
- Experience with Ad Serving Platforms such as DoubleClick, Yahoo APT, Helios or OpenAdStream.
- Experience developing with Social Networking APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Google).
- Experience developing Mobile Web Applications.
- Experience developing applications for iPhone/iPad, Android or Windows Mobile.
- Experience with Cloud Computing and Software Development.

Enterprise Customers: New Pickup/Delivery Options

When sending ads to a production center/studio, both the Macintosh and Windows client now have the ability to perform a pickup of other InDesign or Flash documents on the fly.  The purpose of this is so that you can send other ads as examples or if you wish for them to lift copy or layout from those ads.  These additional documents are then included in the ZIP file that is sent to the center/studio.  We also allow the ability to override the default delivery deadline and specify a custom return deadline.  These deadlines are then appropriately updated in your system.

New WIKI Button Functionality

For our Enterprise Customers who leverage a third-party WIKI to store advertiser-specific information, we have extended that functionality to now also include Site-Specific WIKI Pages.  For Ad Centralization Systems, the central ad desk can now view build notes specific to the unique advertiser as well as the individual site.  Customers must be on at least an Enterprise Edition release from 12/07/2011 or later.  Contact your Support Representative, for further details!
